Accessing the Review Widget Customisation Tool
To begin customising your review widgets:,
- Go to Reputation > Widgets.
- Click Create New to start building your widget
- Or choose a template from the Templates tab.
- Or select a saved widget and click Edit Widget.
Layout Tab: Configuring Widget Structure
In the Layout tab, choose the structure of your widget:
- Select the source for reviews, such as Google or Facebook.
- Select a widget type: List, Masonry, Grid, Carousel or Legacy (for traditional styles with limited options).
- Select the Max Number of reviews and ratings to display.
- Select the Minimum Rating to only display reviews of this many stars and above.
- Enable or disable the Powered by section at the bottom.
Content Tab: Editing Widget Header and Description
The Content tab allows you to craft titles and descriptions for your widget:
- Customise the Heading with on-brand titles and descriptions.
- Toggle display options for Title on/off, Header on/off, Rating, Total review count, and the Write a review button.
Appearance Tab: Choosing Themes and Colours
In the Appearance tab, control your widget’s look:
- Choose between Light, Dark, or a Custom theme.
- Select a Font.
- Customise colours for headings, reviews, stars, background, and borders.
Settings Tab: Fine-Tuning Widget Behaviour
The Settings tab lets you refine widget behaviour:
- Enable or disable elements such as review dates and reviewer icon.
- Exclude reviews with no text.
- Copy HTML to embed your widget into your website.
Saving, Naming, and Managing Your Widgets
Don’t forget to click Save after editing!
Name your widget for easy identification and save it for later use or publish it immediately. Manage saved widgets in the Saved Widgets tab, where you can also delete widgets you no longer need by clicking the three-dot menu.
