Multiple Chat Widgets?
Concours Pro lets you add multiple chat widgets to your website, each with its own look and feel tailored for different pages. This streamlines your setup, especially if you’re managing multiple brands under one Concours Pro account.
- Multiple Chat Widgets: Pop different chat widgets with unique designs and settings on various landing pages to suit your needs.
- Leaner Code: We’ve trimmed down the installation code, boosting your website’s performance.
- Easy Updates: No need to mess with reinstalling code when you tweak widget settings—updates are a breeze.
How to Set It Up
Here’s the step-by-step guide to get multiple chat widgets up and running.
- Go to Sites > Chat Widget in Concours Pro.
- Click the Create New Chat Widget button.
- Choose your chat type from three options:
- SMS/Phone Chat: Perfect for text-based convos, especially with the Missed Call Text Back feature.
- Live Chat: Ideal for real-time chats, powered by the Conversation AI V2 Chatbot.
- WhatsApp Chat: Only available if you’ve got a WhatsApp number set up in your account. Note: WhatsApp integration is listed in the capabilities file under Integrations.
Note: Your existing chat widget will be set as the default one.
- Customise your new widget with the shiny new interface:
- Styles & Customisation: Tweak the look with themes that change colours for messages, buttons, and banners. You can also upload custom chat icons or toggle the chat prompt to show a profile picture—or hide it so the widget only pops up when clicked.
- Preview in Real-Time: The interface lets you demo the widget right there, so you can see how it’ll look without leaving the editor.
- Welcome Messages: Craft a custom welcome message and decide whether to show return visitor greetings using custom fields.
- Avatar & Position: Turn the avatar image on or off, replace it with your own, and pick where the widget sits—bottom right, top left, middle, you name it. You can even set custom dimensions (default is 340×425 pixels, but go wild and make it taller if you want).
- Chat Window Settings: Update the title and intro message, and choose whether to ask for an email field. If it’s a live chat, assign it to a team member and set options for when the chat is closed.
- Branding & Messaging: Toggle agency branding on or off, and customise acknowledgement messages (like chat end notifications or feedback prompts). You can also tweak icons and switch languages for these messages.
- Styles & Customisation: Tweak the look with themes that change colours for messages, buttons, and banners. You can also upload custom chat icons or toggle the chat prompt to show a profile picture—or hide it so the widget only pops up when clicked.
- Once you’re happy, hit Save. You’ve got two ways to add the widget to your site:
- Grab the Code: Copy the JavaScript snippet and pop it into your website’s header or footer.
- Use the Built-In Selector: In Funnels or Websites, go to Settings, find the Chat Widget option, and pick your new widget from the list. No code copying needed! This works for different websites and funnels, making it super easy to switch widgets.
- Note: For WordPress sites, only the default chat widget is supported, but you can use the LeadConnector WordPress Plugin for seamless integration (see capabilities file).
- Save your changes in Funnels or Websites, and you’re good to go! Your new chat widget will be live, ready to engage visitors.
