Prerequisites
- Ensure that your Google My Business (GMB) is correctly integrated with Concours Pro.
- Enable review requests seperately for SMS and Email requests.
- Go To Reputation > Settings > SMS Review Requests.
- Switch On the toggle switch in the top right corner to activate the review request.
- Don’t forget to click Save!
- Repeat for Email Review Requests.
- Customise your SMS or email messages if desired.

Gathering reviews enhances your online presence, boosts SEO, builds trust, and improves customer experience. Positive reviews can lead to increased sales and help potential customers trust your business.
Ways to Send Review Requests
Reputation Tab (Manual)
This is typically done by your business when a client service is completed. Otherwise known as a Client Check In.
- Go to Reputation tab.
- Click Send Review Request.
- Select the Contact.
- Select Review Request SMS or Review Request Email.
- Click Send Review Request.
Contacts – Quick Actions (Manual)
- Go to Contacts.
- Click the 3 dots to bing up the quick actions menu.
- Click Send Review Request.
- Select Review Request SMS or Review Request Email.
- Click Send Review Request.
Contacts – Bulk Select (Manual)
Useful for sending multiple review requests at once.
- Go to Contacts.
- Select the contact(s) you wish to send the review request to.
- Click the Star icon in the quick actions panel.
- Press Proceed.
- Select Review Request SMS or Review Request Email.
- Select Add all at once, Add all at schedule time or Add in drop mode to control the number of requests sent at one time. Useful for reducing system and email server load when working with large quantities.
- Enter an Action. This is a description for a bulk action to be shown in the tracking report. Useful for noting specific bulk actions. Eg. “Review requests: 1st March 2024”.
- Click Send Review Requests.
Workflow Action (Automated)
Automate review requests within workflows by adding the Send Review Request action, selecting either SMS or Email. This can be done on behalf of an assigned user if needed.
Understanding Review Request Statuses
- Queued: Waiting to be sent. If there is a queue of review requests in front of yours, there may be a slight delay before the request is sent. Another possible reason for a delay is that the email/SMS request is set up to send after one day
- Sent: Successfully sent.
- Delivered: Confirmed by Twilio for SMS; no confirmation available for email.
- Failed: The request could not be delivered, possibly due to invalid contact information such as a non SMS capable phone number.
