How It Works

When you enable GBP Call Tracking in Concours Pro, the system will automatically shift the primary business number to a secondary position and place your default Concours Pro phone number in the primary slot. This setup ensures all calls are tracked through Concours Pro, allowing Missed Call Text back functionality, while maintaining the business’s visibility on GBP for optimal SEO.

• If the GBP number is already a Concours Pro number, no changes are made.
• If the GBP number is also a forwarding number for a Concours Pro number, the current number is moved to the secondary slot, and the Concours Pro number is added to the primary slot.
• If the GBP number is not a forwarding number for any Phone numbers in the account, the system will update the primary slot with the Concours Pro number and set the current number as the forwarding number.

Setting Up GBP Call Tracking

Check if it is set up already:

1. Ensure your main business number is correctly listed in your Google Business Profile (GBP).
2. Go to Settings > Integrations
3. Look for a Google Business Profile connected page which will look like this. The orange phone icon indicates the connected GBP uses a Concours Pro phone number and tracking is active.

Switch on GBP Call Tracking:

1. If it doesn’t use a Concours Pro number, click Manage Pages, then next to your connected page toggle the switch on for GBP Call Tracking.
2. Click Update.
3. It may take several minutes for the phone numbers to change in your GBP.
4. Then verify that the Concours Pro number is correctly set as the default number in GBP.

Important: If your GBP is connected to more than one Concours Pro account, then Call Tracking can only be active on ONE account. To switch accounts turn it off on one account before switching on for the other account.
