Overview
To help accounts comply with Australian phone number regulations and minimise the risk of phone system disruptions, Concours Pro adheres to local regulatory requirements. Australian regulations necessitate providing adequate identity documentation for verification by our phone network partner, Twilio.
This information may be supplied to police if we are legally required to do so.
To avoid urgent regulatory escalations, it’s essential to provide accurate documentation.
To provide us with this required information you must first create an Address, and then a Regulatory Bundle, which must both be validated / approved before using them to purchase a phone number.
Automated Regulatory Bundle and Address Creation
Concours Pro uses the Lead Connector (LC) phone service which has a streamlined process for creating and managing Regulatory Bundles and Addresses. This feature is accessible from the Phone Numbers Settings Page where you can create and submit bundles/addresses directly without delay. You can also save drafts, delete, and resubmit if necessary, with failure reasons displayed for easier troubleshooting.
How to Create Addresses and Regulatory Bundles
Go to Settings > Phone Numbers > Regulatory Bundle / Address.
Click on Create (top right) then select an option to start a new regulatory bundle or address for the account.
Addresses:
You must enter all the relevant address details for validation.
Press ‘Submit’ when all details are entered.
Addresses are generally validated in a short timeframe.
Regulatory Bundles:
You must supply the following business details and documentation:
Business Name:
- Upload your ASIC Registration document showing your Full Legal Business Name.
- Enter the business name in the ‘Document Number’ field and click ‘Update Documents’.
Business Address (Proof of Address):
- Select and Upload One of the following document as proof of your business address (No PO Boxes!):
- ASIC registry or equivalent showing address
- Utility bill
- ATO tax assessment notice
- Rent receipt
- Title deed
- Select a previously validated Address from the drop down, then click ‘Update Documents’.
Business ID Number:
- Upload ASIC Registration document showing ACN or ABN.
- Enter the ABN or ACN in the ‘Document Number’ field and click ‘Update Documents’.
Press ‘Submit’ when all details and documents are entered.
Once your Regulatory Bundle is submitted, we will coordinate the approval of the regulatory bundle with our phone network partner, Twilio.
Regulatory Bundles are generally reviewed and approved or rejected within 24-72 hours.
Be sure to keep checking this settings page to see the status of your bundle. You will not be informed of approval or rejection. You must check this page.
Important Information – Document Requirements
- PO Box addresses are NOT ACCEPTED as addresses. All addresses and documents proving your address must show a physical (street) address.
- Merged documentation CANNOT be accepted as proof. For example, if two seperate documents are required for proof, then they CANNOT be merged into one PDF. Each document must be seperate.
- The address or business details being verified must be on the FRONT page of the supplied document, with clear indication of where the document is from. Eg. A utility bill, ASIC registration etc.
- Scans are accepted providing they are clearly legible and all the above conditions are met.
