Setting Up Two-Way Email Sync for Outlook

Two-way email sync allows you to keep emails synchronised between Concours Pro and Outlook (MS365), ensuring that any email sent, received, or updated in one platform reflects in the other.

How to Connect Outlook Two-Way Email Sync

  1. Go to Settings > My Profile > Email (2-way sync).
  2. Select Outlook as your email provider and click Connect.
  3. Enter your Outlook credentials to complete the authorisation.
  4. Approve permissions for LeadConnector Email System as prompted.
  5. Verify your email’s connection status in Settings > My Profile > Email (2-way sync).

How Two-Way Sync Works

Once connected:

  • Emails sent from Concours Pro are synced with Outlook, keeping threads updated on both platforms.
  • Emails received in Outlook from existing contacts in Concours Pro will sync automatically.
  • For emails sent to new contacts in Outlook, using the BCC field will create a new contact in Concours Pro and sync the email.

Important Notes:

  • Emails from contacts who are also account users won’t sync to avoid sharing confidential information.
  • Attachments larger than 3 MB will not sync. Supported file types include JPG, PNG, MP4, ZIP, PDF, and more.

Additional Functionalities

Update Email

This feature allows you to change the connected email without disconnecting the previous one. New emails will sync with the new address, but old threads will no longer sync.

Disconnect Email

Disconnecting stops the sync between Outlook and Concours Pro. Emails won’t sync once the connection is severed.

Syncing with Individual and Bulk Emails

  • Individual Emails: Your Outlook email ID will be used as the sender domain.
  • Bulk Emails: If your email ID is set up after connecting, it will be the sender domain. If left blank, the account-level provider will be used.
  • Workflow & Automation: Emails sent through these features will continue to use the account-level provider and won’t sync with Outlook.
