Introduction

Concours Pro’s task management tools make it simple to organise and track tasks for your business. With flexible filtering, custom views, and an easy-to-use interface, you can stay on top of everything without breaking a sweat.


Accessing the Task List

To get started:

  1. Head to Contacts > Tasks in the main menu.
  2. You’ll see a clear view with options to filter, sort, or handle multiple tasks at once, all right at the top.

Creating a New Task

From the Task page

To add a task from the task page:

  1. Click Add Task in the top-right corner.
  2. Fill in these details:
    • Title: Give a short summary of the task.
    • Description (optional): Add extra notes if needed.
    • Due Date and Time: Set when it needs to be done.
    • Recurring Task (optional): Switch on to make it repeat on a schedule you choose.
    • Contact (optional): Link the task to a specific customer.
    • Assignee (optional): Assign it to a team member.
  3. Hit Save to finish or Save and Add Another to keep creating more tasks.

From the Contact’s record

To add a task from an individual contacts record:

  • Go to Contacts
  • Click on the desired contact
  • Click the square Tick Icon at the top of the right column
  • Click the blue +Add Button.
  • Fill in these details:
    • Title: Give a short summary of the task.
    • Description (optional): Add extra notes if needed.
    • Due Date and Time: Set when it needs to be done.
    • Recurring Task (optional): Switch on to make it repeat on a schedule you choose.
    • Contact (optional): Link the task to a specific customer.
    • Assignee (optional): Assign it to a team member.
  • Hit Save to finish.

Managing Tasks

Keep your tasks in check with these options:

  • Edit Details: Click the pencil icon in the Actions column or the task’s title to tweak its details.
  • Delete Tasks: Select a task and click Delete. You can restore deleted tasks within 60 days.
  • Bulk Actions: Pick multiple tasks and mark them as done or delete them in one go.

Using Advanced Filters

Narrow down your task list by clicking Advanced Filters. You can filter by:

  • Assignee
  • Status (All, Due Today, Overdue, Upcoming)
  • Due Date
  • Custom fields (if you’ve set them up)

Sorting Tasks

Click Sort to arrange tasks by:

  • Due Date
  • Title
  • Created At
  • Updated At
