Contents

Intent-Based Prompting

Go to Settings > Conversation AI > Configure Intents tab. Click Edit Prompt for the specific intent you wish to modify. This feature allows you to tailor the bot’s responses to better suit your needs.

You can edit prompts for both possible Conversation AI intents – whether it is configured for Question and Answer, or if you have it set to book customer appointments.

Components of Edit Prompt

1. Who is the bot? [Editable] – Define the bot’s identity, goals, and key points to remember during interactions.
2. Goal [Non-Editable] – A fixed description of the bot’s primary objective.
3. Anything else the Bot should know? [Editable] – Include important business details, context, and specific rules to enhance the bot’s responses.
Note: You can insert Custom Values and Fields by using the + Add Custom Values button.

Templates and Reset to Default

We offer several templates for prompt creation, providing ideas and best practices. Use the Reset to Default button to revert to the original prompt settings if needed.
