How to Use the Email Risk Assessment Tool in Concours Pro

Contents

Feature Overview

The Concours Pro Email Risk Assessment Tool is a powerful feature designed to help you optimise email deliverability. By analysing your imported contact lists, the tool categorises emails based on deliverability risk, allowing you to improve your email marketing outcomes by minimising bounce rates and enhancing overall reach.

Risk Categories

Emails are categorised into four risk levels:

  • High: Likely undeliverable, often due to non-existent accounts or full mailboxes.
  • Medium: Uncertain deliverability, often due to ambiguous server responses or catch-all domains.
  • Low: Likely deliverable, with positive server validation.
  • Unknown: Could not be validated due to server errors or other issues.

Use Cases

The tool is useful in various scenarios, such as cleaning email lists for marketing campaigns, validating user registrations, and ensuring up-to-date CRM data. It’s also valuable for e-commerce, community updates, educational communications, and research surveys.

Using the Tool

When you import a CSV into the CRM, the tool will automatically analyse the email addresses if your account is on the Concours Pro SMTP and email validation is not yet enabled. You will receive a popup and an email summarising the analysis and encouraging you to enable email verification.
