Overview
Concours Pro’s Conversation AI V2 Chatbot includes a powerful Bot Goals feature that lets you fine-tune your chatbot’s behaviour. This tool allows you to edit or update prompts for existing or newly created bots, ensuring they align with your business objectives, like guiding customers to book appointments or answering queries.
It builds on the chatbot’s ability to provide 24/7 customer service, responding instantly via web chat, SMS, Facebook Messenger, or Instagram DMs.
Additional capabilities, such as triggering workflows or updating contact details give you even more control. The previous Bot Trial feature is now seamlessly integrated as Test Your Bot within Bot Goals, making it easier to refine your chatbot’s performance.
Key Features
- Multiple Bots for Specific Tasks: Unlike earlier versions limited to a single bot, you can now create multiple bots tailored to different purposes. For example, set up one bot to handle general customer questions and another to focus solely on securing appointments, streamlining interactions and boosting efficiency.
How-to Guide
Step 1: Getting Started with Bot Goals
- Either create a fresh bot or tweak an existing one in Concours Pro.
- If starting from scratch, give your bot a clear name before moving forward.
Step 2: Exploring the Bot Interface
Once you’ve selected or created a bot, you’ll see three tabs:
- Bot Settings: No changes here—same setup as before for basic configurations.
- Bot Training: Also unchanged, this is where you train your bot with relevant data.
- Bot Goals: This section houses the Bot Goals feature, letting you customise how your bot behaves with options like triggering workflows or updating contact info (coming soon).
- The Test Your Bot feature, previously a separate tab, is now part of either Bot Training or Bot Goals for a smoother experience.
Step 3: Setting Up Bot Goals
- Head to the Bot Goals tab and find the Prompt section to add or update AI prompts that match your objectives.
- For each unique goal (e.g., booking appointments or answering FAQs), create a separate bot with its own customised prompt in the Bot Goals section.
Bot Goals Options
Bot Goals includes three main options to enhance your chatbot’s functionality:
- Appointment Booking: A handy feature called Transfer Employee Post Appointment Booking lets you pass the conversation to another bot after an action, like confirming an appointment. Simply pick the next bot from a dropdown list to keep the interaction flowing smoothly.
- Trigger a Workflow: Coming soon, this will let you kick off automated workflows based on bot interactions, saving you time on repetitive tasks.
- Add Contact Info: Also on the way, this feature will allow your bot to update customer details automatically, keeping your CRM up to date.
For more details on these options, check the help documents linked within Concours Pro.
Step 4: Activating Your Bot
- After tweaking prompts and setting up your bot, hit Save.
- Your bot will go live, ready to handle customer interactions with the goals and prompts you’ve defined, driving more bookings and engagement.
